A Christmas Latte Experiment

Image
Hi guys! For those of you who know me, you know that I am a serious coffee addict.  I am hoping Santa brings me an espresso machine so I can have all the hot and iced lattes I want! Speaking of which, did anyone hear about the new holiday latte that Starbucks has on the menu for the season?  Well, it's called the Juniper latte (see more about it here ) and seriously, it is Christmas in a cup!  I couldn't believe the piney-citrusy taste that it had. I don't know how they captured the very essence of a wintry Christmas tree, but they managed. Then they had the tangy, citrusy sprinkles on top of the foam which really brought the whole spirit of the holidays to me just in time for my afternoon coffee break. Mellow and smooth, a really nice holiday blend. If you try one, hit me up with your thoughts on this very, very interesting flavor! (I used a reward in case I didn't like it, but strangely it grew on me the more I drank it lol) Happy Holidays! Erica ;

A Delicious Experiment

So I go to Starbucks the other day with a coveted free-reward on my Starbucks card and decide to try something new for a change instead of my plain venti brewed coffee(cream, no sugar).  Which brings me to one of my new favorite lattes at my local #starbucks. Now I am no great fan of coconut and have never even had coconut milk, but this is just too good to keep to myself.  I go to the counter and ask the barista for the following: Order Now! A Venti caffe latte  Blonde-roast, doppio(double-shot which is basically two 1 ounce shots of espresso) 5 pumps Toasted White Mocha sauce Coconut milk instead of regular milk Whipped cream(of course) topped with cranberry sugar topping.  (You can order it the above way via the mobile app to cut down on the wait if you are on the go!) Can you say delish ? Oh my God, I didn't think I was going to like it but it was very, very good!  I've actually had it twice already and the last time I did I changed out the cranberry
